Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Range

I believe skin care really is one of the most important things in a beauty regime and I really think that the bigger the price the better the results or at least I did, until I found the Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action range

So the products I am reviewing here (shown above) is the: Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Deep Pore Treatment Toner (£5.29 for 200ml) and Gel Wash (£5.79 for 150ml). So for the record I have acne prone normal to oily combination skin. The toner contains salicylic acid which really works on my skin, and I really do particularly like using acid based toners as I avoid aggravating face wash as it can damage young skin and cause premature ageing. The acid based toner also makes your skin feel extra clean compared to any other facial toners, and it really does give visibly clearer skin, maybe not in 12 hours but it does work. It's very similar to the Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2 (£16.50 for 200ml) which I really do like, but leaves me with a hole in my pocket considering I go though it in a month or two. The accompanying face wash I decided to buy when out repurchasing the toner, I do have to say I was a little disappointed with the cleanser, it does the job but I just find the smell quite overpowering and offensive as it has a sort of industrial cleaning scent and I don’t believe it lives up the claims of visibly clearer skin in 12 hours unlike the toner.

So finally this is a range I would highly recommend especially if your on a budget and suffer from acne or blemishes, and I shall continue to repurchase the toner and try other products from the range, but I must add especially when using an acid based toner like this one don’t forget to moisturise! It really is the most important part of your skincare routine and the acid really can dry your skin if you don’t moisturize
